You're sitting in your room alone, looking through Soundcloud, Spotify, and Apple Music for the perfect album for a night in. It's dark and cold outside, but the night is still young, and you have a while to sit back, relax, and enjoy your time alone.
This kind of occurrence happens a lot to me; however as I look through my music, I have never grasped that perfect album until now: Bloomsday by Esbe.
It's for those night you want to listen to some old time songs from Dean Martin and the like, but you also want the chill beats from your favorite R&B artist. Without lyrics, you get remixes of classic songs with a twist of 21st century cool. Imagine walking into a cocktail party on the highest floor of a hotel in Los Angeles and everyone is in white. This is the album they're playing. Esbe is the DJ.
This album is almost two years old in January, but I feel like it needs more attention. It's trendy yet classic. It's the music you want to play to relax and feel cool about everything; for the atmosphere and your soul to feel just right.
The album has a total of 20 songs and is free on band camp, which is linked by clicking on the album cover.
